The only issue, as mentioned in a review earlier, is that 15.4" laptops won't fit into the laptop sleeve. It's not a big deal. I just put my computer in the bigger pocket and my books in the laptop sleeve. This bag really doesn't look or feel bulky no matter how much you put in it, which it great. The straps offer a lot more support than my Jansport bag did. Overall, it's a great bag and I'm really glad I purchased it. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful:  Excellent Backpack, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Dakine Duel Pack (Sports) I use my new backpack to carry my skateboard and my pool/park/downhill items: helmet, knee and elbow pads, wrist guards, slide gloves, a towel, skate tools, sometimes a sweatshirt, my cap, mp3 player, sunglasses. Everything fits nice with room to spare. The backpack is really great looking and well made. It is light, middle sized and comfortably to carry. I have not used it to carry books or a notebook, since I bought it for sports stuff, but this backpack would be really useful for school: it has a lot of space, a dedicated and protected notebook section (I would say for up to 14,5" inches), and lots of organizing little pockets on the front section. It also has an insulated pocket that could be very handy to carry snacks/cans. It has two side mesh pockets, I use one of them to carry a cooler bottle.
